Fairport Main Street Streetscape Update; 4th of July Parade Location Change

The Village of Fairport has provided another update on Main St. streetscape Project.

The sidewalks north of the railroad tracks are mostly completed. The next step in this area will be replacement of any electrical infrastructure that is needed and any required site preparation for placement of new street lighting. The new street lights will be installed over the next few months. Site preparation also continues to progress where trees will be planted later this fall.
The sidewalk team will move to the area south of the railroad tracks and north of the liftbridge.

4th of July Parade
The parade will be held on Friday July 4th beginning at 10AM. The date and time is the same as always, but the location will change for 2025. The parade will begin at Hulburt and Potter in front of Minerva Deland School and travel north on Potter Place. At West Church Street, the route will head west towards Perinton Park. The end of the parade route will be at the west end of the Fairport Rd. bridge at Perinton Park. The Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the 4th of July Parade.
