Free School Meals for 2025-2026

Fairport Central School District will offer all students in the district free school meals for the upcoming school year. As of July 1, 2025, the district has been approved for the Provision 2 section of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. This program will allows all students, regardless of income, to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch per day. Fairport CSD says the district has received confirmation the program will continue through June 30, 2026.

Families will not be required to complete any forms for students to participate. The district, however, is encouraging families to complete the the Free and Reduced Meal Application. The district says the application is tied to state funding for programs within the district, with fewer forms completed the district could lose essential funding. Eligible families could also qualify for reduced internet fees and exam fees.

There are some restrictions with free meals. The free meal program does not include a la carte items such as snacks, extra milk, or ice cream. Additionally, the program does not cover a student purchasing a double lunch. If you have any questions about the Free and Reduced Meals application or Food Services, contact Michele Resavage, Director of Food Services at 585-421-2323 or via email at michele.resavage@fairport.org.
